Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

I've been sitting, waiting, wishing, with Jack Johnson in my head all day, anticipating my friend Morgan to come visit for a long weekend. I have been slaving away in the library finishing homework, articles for internships, and other work assignments so I don't have to worry about a thing until after her flight home. I have a few assignments due between March 15 to March 17, but I have time to complete those assignments during the week next week and as reward for another three days in the library and in class, I'll be getting a full week of backpacking, hiking, and visiting Santa Cruz and San Francisco. Today, I had lunch and looked over my outline of communication and conflict in an episode of How I Met Your Mother (a television show) outside in the sun. It really can't get better than that.

I've got so much to look forward to in the next few weeks and months. I'm feeling sky high.
